246Streetboxx

Feature:
A multitude of great hip hop patterns, plus you can create your own.
Quality:
It is made of plastic. So don't play games with it.
Value:
Its worth it.
Sound:
This is the best; percossion sounds like the real thing. You can tune the percussion to your sound. And the pads are sensible to the touch, hit it hard and you have a hard sound, hit it soft and it will be soft.
Ease of Use:
It can be a little complicated. Take your time and read the manual. I have a week with it and keep discovering stuff every day.
Overall:
This baby is the newest member of my studio

What computer music man thinks: This seems like a cheap version of the classic MPC drum machines. If you are new to producing, and on a tight budget, you might wanna pick this up. I suggest saving up your money and buying a real drum machine.
I rate the Zoom SB246 StreetBoxx Drum Machine 5 out of 10

i have some questions...PLEASE HELP ME...
1.) is the streetboxx also a sampler or can i just use the presets?
2.) does it have a quantanization function? (very important)
3.) how large is it? i have to know that, so i can use it for travelling...
4.) cani change the velocity of the different parts of a beat?
(e.g. a lower hihat or a louder snare)
5.) how can i play little melodys with it?(i can see no keys)
6.) is it possible to play part after part, e.g. first a hihat line,
after that put in the kick and finally on top of it the snare..
or is it just possible to play it all the same time?...
sry for those strange questions, but im new to it, and
the official description of the product doesnt tell me those
things or i dont understand them
